Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait Public Announcements


Ambbassdor Malik Muhammad Farooq met H.E. Dr. Ahmad Abdul Wahab Ahmad Al Awadi, Minister of Health, Kuwait. Avenues of enhanced cooperation in the field of healthcare & matters pertaining to welfare of Pakistani medical professionals were discussed. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad


The Foreign Minister of Pakistan H.E. Jalil Abbas Jilani, met with the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, H.E. Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC on Palestine. He expressed grave concerns on crisis in Gaza over the loss of lives of innocent Palestinians. Both agreed on urgent need for a ceasefire, de-escalation, & timely provision of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.


The Embassy of Pakistan in a statement to the media expressed their regret of cancellation of their scheduled programmes on 13  14 and 15 October 2023 in light of the recent developments in the Middle East and as a gesture of solidarity with Palestine.


The decision aligns with the commitment of both the Pakistani and Kuwaiti governments to support the Palestinian brethren during these challenging times.


While the Embassy intended to exhibit the cultural affinity through Pakistan Cultural Week, they expressed their regret and empathize with the Kuwaiti government’s decision to halt all the musical concerts in conveying its sentiments and support.

The Embassy remains committed to commemorate the 60th anniversary in a befitting manner and aims to foster cultural ties and cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.

Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq met Chairman Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE), H.E. Faisal Duweih Alatel. The two discussed possible collaboration in various fields of engineering, enhanced cooperation b/w Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) & KSE alongside exploring possibilities of additional recruitment of Pakistani Engineers in Kuwait.


The Embassy organized a Mehfil-e-Hamd o Naat in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi(SAW). Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali graced the event and captivated the audience with reverent recitation of HolyQuran.


Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq hosted a dinner at Pakistan House for Pakistani Professionals serving in various capacities in Energy, Oil & Financial Sectors of Kuwait
