Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait Public Announcements


Open Invitation to attend 2-Day Trade Exhibition of Pakistani Products at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry (8-9 February 2023)


In connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Embassy organized a seminar with participation of Pakistani & Kashmiri diaspora in Kuwait to reiterate Pakistan unwavering support to Kashmiris’ just struggle for self-determination.

A new batch of 180 Pakistani doctors and nurses arrived in the country on 2-Feb-2023 received by Community Welfare Wing of the Embassy. Pakistani Ambassador to Kuwait Malik Farooq told that, this is the 18th batch of Pakistani doctors and nurses arriving in Kuwait in accordance with the agreement signed by the Pakistani and the Kuwaiti governments.

He said: “We know that after the corona pandemic, Kuwait has a shortage of doctors and nurses. I would like to thank the Kuwaiti government for trusting us. Our doctors and nursing staff are professional, competent and have vast experience. Pakistan sends the best doctors from the best of its hospitals. We are happy that the people of Pakistan are offering their services to their friends and brothers in Kuwait.”

He added: “I am sure that this batch of doctors is only the beginning of strengthening our bilateral relations. We are ready to bring in more; not only doctors and nursing staff, but we also Pakistani professionals in the fields of education, information technology and others. We are ready to fill the shortage in any place or job; with the aim of helping in the development of Kuwait, which we have been doing for more than 60 years now.”

 


Amb. Malik Muhammad Farooq held meeting with Mr. Ghanem Al Ghenaiman, Managing Director, Kuwait Investment Authority(KIA) at KIA's office today. Amb. Farooq apprised him of investment opportunities in Pakistan.


The embassy organized a tree plantation drive in collaboration with Shamiya Nature Reserve Youth Center & Pakistan Women’s Forum. Amb. Malik Muhammad Farooq also planted a sapling at dedicated area of the reserve. Founders of the reserve Noah Al-Kharafi, Adiba Al-Fahad and Mazna Al-Mutairi gave briefing on their initiative of Shamiya Greenhouse and hoped for future collaboration with the embassy. A large no. of Pakistani Women volunteered for the event.


Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farouk's interview with Mr. Farid Dashti for KTV2 Prime Time "Good Morning Kuwait". During the interview, His Excellency Ambassador Farouk spoke about shared values and culture between the two sister countries. He also highlighted the investment and tourism potential of Pakistan, he expressed his hope for further efforts to enhance the bilateral relations.
He also talked about the recent floods situation in Pakistan and thanked the Kuwaiti government. For its assistance to the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of flood affected people in Pakistan.

He also talked about recent flood situation in Pakistan & extended gratitude to Kuwaiti govt. for its assistance for recons. and rehab. of flood affectees in Pakistan.


Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq chaired a meeting with prominent Pakistani businessmen in Kuwait to discuss ways of organizing a Expo for the upcoming Pakistan Trade Delegation.
Participating community members exchanged views and emphasized support to enhance bilateral business relations between the business communities of the two countries.
He reaffirmed confirmation that concerned businessmen will be involved in Kuwait to ensure maximum exhibition participation and build links with concerned businessmen in Pakistan.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude for the response of community members and expressed hope that the Embassy would work in cooperation with all concerned parties to enhance bilateral economic ties.
Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq chaired a meeting with prominent Pakistani businessmen in Kuwait to discuss the modalities of organising an exhibition of upcoming trade delegation from Pakistan.
The participating members of the community shared their ideas and assured to extend necessary support in uplifting the bilateral trade and commercial ties between the business communities of the two countries.
It was re-affirmed that relevant businessmen in Kuwait would be engaged to ensure maximum participation in the exhibition and build linkages with concerned businessmen in Pakistan.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude on welcoming response of the participating community members and hoped that the embassy would work in collaboration with all concerned stakeholders to boost bilateral economic ties.
